About

Why this site exists.

Idaho politics has a documentation problem. A small network of donors, operators, and legislators has accumulated disproportionate influence over state policy while operating behind a wall of propaganda-network amplifiers, coordinated narratives, and dark-money pipelines that most voters can't trace.

IdahoExtremism.org is the public-facing record. We document who is doing what, who pays for it, how the money moves, and how the narrative machine manufactures consensus. Every claim on this site is anchored to primary-source evidence — court records, campaign-finance filings, legislative votes, infrastructure records, and contemporaneous news reporting.

What this site is.

  • A primary-source archive. Every assertion is linked to a verifiable record. If we can’t prove it, we don’t publish it.
  • A growing record. Dossiers and investigations get updated as new evidence lands. We version everything and show dates.
  • A connection map. The power in Idaho’s extreme-politics network is in the connections, not just the individuals. We document both.
  • A tool, not a megaphone. Our goal is to help voters, journalists, and researchers make informed judgments — not to tell them what to think.

What this site is not.

  • Not a registry of every Idaho politician. The dossiers cover the operators, legislators, candidates, and donors who run or are aligned with the extreme-politics network documented on this site. Idaho Republicans operating outside that network are not subjects of this work.
  • Not a partisan opinion site. We publish evidence. Interpretation is the reader’s job.
  • Not anonymous. We publish who we are at the bottom of every page.
  • Not financially independent from disclosure. This site is paid for by Take Back Idaho PAC. David High, Treasurer. That is a fact we want you to know.
  • Not soft on documentation. Each dossier is triangulated across more than 25 authoritative data sources and cleared through the Snake River Strategies proprietary validation pipeline before it ships. Read our methodology for the details.

Who built this.

Research, editorial direction, and site engineering by Gregory Graf, founder of Snake River Strategies — an Idaho-based political consulting and digital research firm with nearly a decade of direct experience engaging with, documenting, and publishing on the network profiled here.

Graf also publishes Political Potatoes and operates IdahoVoters.com, the long-running Idaho political-accountability platforms that supply much of the primary-source reporting cited throughout this site.

This site is the public-facing visualization of that work. Behind it sits a proprietary Snake River Strategies research system — an in-house pipeline that ingests, structures, cross-references, and quality-controls primary-source records from more than twenty-five authoritative data sources before any claim is rendered to the page. The internal tradecraft stays internal. What appears here is the output.
